The large island spans over 1500 acres, with untouched natural forest and a variety of wildlife including small antelopes, monkeys, bush pigs, and birds.

A long, sandy beach stretches 450 meters across the coastline and numerous smaller beaches are tucked away in cozy little coves around the island. The surrounding waters are extremely clear, as there is no direct runoff from the land. Approximately four to five kilometers off the coastline, the water takes a 600-meter drop, making for excellent reef and deep sea fishing. The bay offers very good shelter for boats with up to 2m draft, and allows 24-hour accessibility to the open waters.
